National Direct eMedia Racing was founded in November 2008. We are an age group based team that has the determination and goal to place in the top three in each of our age groups and to be competitive in the team competition for our region. We are a registered USA Triathlon Team and a part of the South MidWest USA Triathlon Region.
Mission:
We desire to promote the healthy lifestyle of the triathlete. We will provide a family friendly environment within the team. We want to be positive examples for our team, our sponsors, and the sport of triathlon within the community.
Our goal is to promote the sport of triathlon in our four state region. We desire to keep a close knit team that has a family friendly atmosphere. We also desire to promote our sponsors around our local community and within the triathlon community. We encourage the team members to share information about our sponsors and the products they provide. We understand the community of triathlon is a very loyal group and they want to financially support the businesses that are financially supporting our sport. Our members will look for opportunities to refer business to our sponsors when possible.
Team Selection Criteria:
► High moral character, honest, friendly, dedicated, and encouraging to all
► Participate in the team races and training when possible
► Race a minimum of 5 races per year - 3 Team focused races, and 2 others
► Potential to place in the top 5 of their age group
► Limit the size of the Racing Team to a maximum of 20 individuals
Community Involvement:
We encourage active involvement within the community. We look for opportunities to promote Triathlon to the community. In addition, we focus on the youth of our community and look for opportunities to promote the active lifestyle that triathlon provides. Our nation's children have become a sedentary society, and we want to influence the children to get out and do what they love. That is to swim, bike, and run, and to begin putting that into the sporting activity of triathlon.
