Welcome to the Chisholm Trail Sprint Triathlon

My desire is to provide an enjoyable racing experience where all athletes are valued and appreciated. For those winning awards, you will not be disappointed as they will be unique and special. I believe this venue is extremely spectator friendly. Come enjoy a unique experience of racing along the Chisholm Trail where the trails were forged and the cattle rancher west began.

When:

Sunday, Oct 3 2010 @ 8:00 a.m. Transition will open @ 6:00 a.m.

Where:

Lake Pat Cleburne, Cleburne TX @ the south small boat ramp area closest to the dam on Lake Shore Drive.

Parking Info:

There will be plenty of parking along the pipe fencing along the Lake. We will have flaggers to assist in organizing parking.

Course:

Swim: 500 meter starting along the banks of Lake Pat Cleburne. VERY spectator friendly. Most likely Wetsuit Legal. Click here for the actual Swim Course and Transition Area

Bike: A rolling but fast and fair 18 mile lightly traveled and well paved country road course. A LolliPop route with good roads and beautiful scenery of the countryside. Click here for the actual Bike Course

Run: a rolling 3 mile course along the Lake, surrounding neighborhood, Golf Course and finish back along the Lake. Click here for the actual Run Course

Eligibility – The minimum age to participate is 13. USAT rules and regulations will be followed.

The Chisholm Trail Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must be current annual members of USAT or purchase a one day permit for $10 at packet pickup. Do not send USAT permit fee with entry fee.

All established USAT rules will be in effect and will be strictly enforced. You must show your USAT member card and your photo ID at packet pickup- No Exceptions. Friends and family will not be allowed to pick up anyone’s packet. If you are a annual USAT member and do not bring your member card to packet pickup, you must buy a $10 one day membership.

For safety reasons. Tri Excellence Racing reserves the right to modify, cancel, or delay a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.
